COMPETITION FOR SURGICAL SOCIETY NAME AND LOGO |
After the successful launch of the surgical society on Thursday, 21 January 2010 there are only two, but very essential, details left to address before we can truly bring this surgical society into creation.
These are the name and the logo for our surgical society. We want you to decide on the name and design the logo of your surgical society.
Of course no hard work goes over-looked. The winner of the “Competition for surgical society name and logo” will win the book “Atlas of Anatomy” by Gilroy, MacPherson and Ross. |

It's that time of year again, and planning for MedRevue 2010 has begun. At this stage, the Directors, Producer and Stage Manager for 2009 are looking to hand over the reins for the 2010 show so that preparation may begin.
We are mindful that first year '10 has yet to begin, hence more calls for involvement will be made at a later date, but we are seeking at least one position to be filled by the 22nd of January. If you would like to Direct/Produce, please email the Producer of the 2009 show, Marcus Handmer at

eMUWS November - ENDLESS SUMMER EDITION! |
I wake up at 11am with the sun pouring in on my face, the light far too bright for my hangover. Next to my glass is a bed half full of water that I should have drunk last night. As I stretch my arms out, the crinkling of the skin on my shoulders reminds me of the sunburn carelessly acquired at the beach two, or however many days ago that was. What day even is it today? As I munch on my breakfast of leftover pizza, I have a nagging feeling that there’s something I need to get done today, something I should be doing other than watching re-runs of Scrubs. Oh no wait, that was the feeling of study, so last week! It hits me once again that exams are over and one more year of med school is behind me. And once again I’m a hungover, sunburnt, pizza-eating, carefree, SMILING mess. Bring on Summer baby!
